Severe Weather Warning
On the BBC radio news this morning the Met Office gave a severe weather warning. Apparently heavy snow is predicted in the South East of England and in places it could get as deep as 5 cm. The temperature may plummet to -2 C. The usual warnings to travellers were given.
So there you have it - be careful out there kids. I, personally, will not be taking any risks and will be putting a scarf on.

My goodness. 5cm? Oh dear! *guffaw*
I'm sorry. I'd forgotten my winter in London and how mild it was. Chilly drizzle for 3 months straight, not a patch of ice to be seen. Couldn't fathom places not being prepared for heavy snowfall as it featured such a regular occurance in my life. I'm betting your readership in Quebec & the US midwest might concur.

Well my ratings have taken a bit of a tumble recently and I haven't even got to the difficult third series yet. However, I don't think I ever got a good following in the US Midwest. Although strangely my Argentinean fans are as loyal as ever.
See what happens when you don't do a Christmas special? Hmm... maybe I should have an emergency board meeting with blogger execs - discuss introducing a new character that will appeal to important demographics.
I am starting to regret getting that stat counter now.

Don't get too depressed... thusfar it looks as though my concerns about getting a hit counter are confirmed: indeed, it is just the 3 of you reading. Actually, I'm ok with that. Pressure's off! The embarrassing part is that it shows me how many times a day I check my own site. Just a bit more obsessed than I thought.

I am not really - it is the quality of the audience rather than the quantity that counts. ;o)
